The Story Behind Heavenly Promises

As part of this new launch, you will be hearing me speak about Heavenly Promises as I share the new designs and focus for this site. But Heavenly Promises isn’t new! It began more than 26 years ago.

Back in 1999-2000, I was mostly doing website design work, but I was looking to expand and add physical products in my business. I am a crafter/creator at heart, and I wanted more income streams beyond the website design. So, I started creating party favors with scriptures. Candy wrappers, stickers, water bottle labels, favor tags…all designed to celebrate life’s most important moments. They were created for new babies, birthdays, weddings, and moments of gathering where faith and family mattered deeply. Scripture was wrapped around sweet treats, shared at tables, and sent home as small reminders of God’s promises.

That original expansion/brand was called Heavenly Promises.

At the time, the focus was simple: bringing God’s Word into joyful moments. Over the years, my work evolved. Design styles changed. Life seasons shifted. But the heart behind Heavenly Promises never really left. The desire to create faith-filled designs that meet people where they are stayed with me.

Today, Heavenly Promises is taking on a new form. Instead of party favors alone, you’ll now find home decor, faith-inspired clothing, and printables and downloads. These will be created with the same intention that guided those early designs. These pieces are created for everyday spaces and quiet moments, not just special events.

The goal is still the same: to offer gentle reminders of truth, hope, and faith, whether that’s through a verse on a wall, words on a shirt, a candy wrapper at a wedding reception, or a printable tucked into a journal.

This brand has always been about God’s promises. And I’m grateful to continue sharing them, one design at a time.
