Valentine’s Day Card Make & Take

For our local friends, we’ve got a special Valentine’s Day Cards Make and Take this FRIDAY, the 4th and next MONDAY, the 7th! Come down to the Delight Design shop at 516 N Grant anytime between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on either day and have the kids color and assemble their Valentine’s Day cards!

We’ve got over 12 different fold-over card designs they can choose from, AND To/From labels, AND seals to close them up. We’ll provide pens and colored pencils for coloring and a place to get this project done and off your list for February!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Cards include snake, panda, llama, 2 gnomes, frog, tiger, cat, dog, unicorn, flamingo and monkey images. Your kids can pick and choose their favorites and get sets of 10 or 25 cards.

Rainbow Weave/Wrap Make and Take

Come join us for our first “Make and Take” event! This is a fun, simple craft project that makes a lovely wall hanging. Start with a simple rainbow cut-out, wrap different colors of yarn, and ta-da – Rainbow Wall Hanging!

We will have both white acrylic rainbows and wood rainbows, depending on your preference. We’ll supply the rainbow cut-out and will have lots of colors of yarn to choose from, so you can personalize your rainbow!

Make and Take – FREE Lego Mini Figure Ornament

We’re excited about Yorkfest this year, and the theme of Lego and Building Community Connections! In the spirit of that…on Saturday September 11th, we’re offering a FREE Make and Take (while supplies last). Come in between 9 and 2 p.m. and get one free Lego mini figure ornament. You can color it in our DIY Party room, or take it home to color/decorate.

Make and Take Pumpkin Barn Quilt

Come make a Fall Pumpkin Barn Quilt. This is such a fun take on a barn quilt, and it can be displayed in your living room (instead of the side of your house or barn!) This event is 2 hours long because of the amount of time you might need to paint all the pieces of the quilt. If you can, feel free to plan for extra time. The colors shown are just an example – we’ll have a variety of paint colors available for you to use! The size of the backing is 10 by 10 inches.
