God is Doing A New Thing

This week’s Heavenly Promises design features the words from Isaiah 43:19 – “See, I am doing a NEW thing! I am making a WAY in the wilderness and STREAMS in the wasteland.” It’s a reminder, a PROMISE, from God that He is going before and making a way. Just like with the Israelites, he promises this to us as well. No matter the circumstances, the hardships, the trials or setbacks – God will always be doing a NEW thing. He will always be making a way out of the wilderness for us, and a stream where the land feels barren and dry.

God led his people out of slavery, He parted the Red Sea for them to walk on dry land, and He brought them out of the wilderness to the promised land. We can rely on the God who never changes, and who makes ALL things NEW, to do the same for us.
